ASP Nuke Tasks:

Code Release Schedule
by Kenneth Richards - Friday, November 21, 2003
from the Software Releases dept.

My goal with the new release was to finalize the ASP Nuke module structure and to a large extent, I have accomplished this goal. It is not, however, as well-defined and flexible as I had hoped. It will allow us to easily build modules for the Nuke application.

I am going to adhere to a strict policy of releasing code at least once a month in order to stay true to the open source credo of release early and release often. This is my promise to you that updates will constantly be available to the nuke application.

You might be wondering which releases are stable and which releases are development versions. For now, all releases are unstable and should be considered alpha software. As I go through the code, I have caught some glaring errors that need to be fixed.

Sometime in the future we will develop a versioning scheme that will indicat that all x.x0 releases are guaranteed to be stable and anything inbetween is considered to be beta. The first stable release of the application will probably happen sometime around January.

At the point when stable releases are announced, the download package will be renamed ASPNuke_stable_1_00. For now, please feel free to download and use the ASP Nuke package and send us your suggestions on how we can better improve the application.
